Attrell Toyota Parts Driver/Advisor

Duties & Responsibilities:

Parts Driver (Primary)

  • Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.

  • Checks with the parts manager and parts advisors before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.

  • Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.

  • Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.

  • Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.

  • Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.

  • Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.

Parts Advisor (Secondary)

  • Assist both internal and external guests with their parts needs professionally and accurately.
  • Assist the customer in determining the right parts for the job.
  • Ability to handle multiple inquiries – in person, by phone or email – reliably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle minor customer complaints and /or misunderstandings tactfully, promptly and with genuine concern for the customer’s problem.
  • Assist guests with retrieving and storing tires
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Make every reasonable effort to make the parts purchase experience as pleasant as possible for the customer.

Any additional duties assigned by Management

Qualifications:

  • Valid G Ontario Drivers License required
  • Clear Driving record over the past 3 years
  • Passionate about guest service
  • Strong English communication skills necessary
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to learn about the fit and function of automotive parts
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis during tire season
  • Automotive experience considered an asset
  • Additional languages considered an asset

Hours:

Full-time with some evenings and Saturdays

Attrell Toyota Apprentice

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work/flushes, air conditioner recharges, and front-end alignments

  • Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues and make effective and accurate recommendations

  • Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers

  • Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet provincial requirements for safety and emissions

  • Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices

  • Maintaining paperwork and customer records

  • Ensuring equipment longevity

  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

  • Any additional duties assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid G2 or G Ontario Drivers License that is in good standing

  • Knowledge and ability to operate auto repair tools

  • Knowledge and ability to use diagnostic tools

  • Well-versed in the use of automotive tools in general

  • Willingness to participate in in-house training programs

  • Safety management

  • Self-motivated

  • Responsible to provide basic tool. A list will be provided upon employment

Education and Training

  • Secondary School Diploma (O.S.S.D)

Attrell Toyota Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and ability to use diagnostic tools
  • Well-versed in the use of automotive tools in general
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training programs
  • Safety management
  • Self-motivated

Education and Training

  • Automotive Service Technician Certification Required

Attrell Toyota Detailing Technician

Job Duties:

  • Work with the Service department to ensure that new and used vehicles are cleaned, waxed, detailed, and prepared in a timely, and thorough manner.

  • Duties include vacuuming and steam cleaning interiors and detailing vehicle interiors, washing, and polishing exteriors, and carrying out minor repairs to damaged paint work.

  • Complete every job according to dealership standards at all times.

  • Keep work area clean, free of clutter, and presentable in appearance.

  • Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.

  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.
