Detailing Associate (3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

Job Description

Attrell Toyota is one of the fastest growing automotive dealers in the GTA, experiencing over 50% growth in the past 4 years! We have been in business for 41 years and are proud to serve the diverse community of Brampton. We place a high emphasis on hiring for attitude and not aptitude, to create a vibrant and fulfilling work atmosphere. If there is something you don’t know, we are happy to provide you with extensive training!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Service department to ensure that new and used vehicles are cleaned, waxed, detailed, and prepared in a timely, and thorough manner. 
  • Duties include vacuuming and steam cleaning interiors and detailing vehicle interiors, washing, and polishing exteriors, and carrying out minor repairs to damaged paint work. 
  • Complete every job according to dealership standards at all times. 
  • Keep work area clean, free of clutter, and presentable in appearance. 
  • Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor. 
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality control standards. 
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work effectively against deadlines. 
  • Some knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance with previous detail experience is preferred. 
  • Good judgment in execution of tasks. 
  • Must be able to work in an active, social atmosphere without being distracted. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with peers and management. 
  • A valid Ontario Driver’s License and good driving record. 

Hours:

Full-Time, with every other Saturday. 7:30AM – 5:00PM (Hours may vary)

Accounting Clerk (1 POSITION AVAILABLE)

Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Receiving and verifying invoices and requisitions.  
  • Processing of invoices according to standard operating procedures, ensuring payments are supported according to established payment policies.
  • Reconciling statements. 
  • Act as first line contact with vendors regarding billing problems.
  • Assist with processing dealer trades, manufacturer vehicle invoices, journal entries. 
  • Prior experience in processing New and Pre-Owned vehicle deals an asset. 
  • Assist in other accounting duties as required. 
  • Produce monthly accounting reports. 
  • Meet month end close deadlines. 
  • Participate and complete the Cross training of all relative accounting duties within the department. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 Years accounting work experience within a Retail Automotive Dealership. 
  • Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds Automotive Dealership software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications with an advanced level in Excel.

Sales Manager (1 POSITION AVAILABLE)

Job Description (Duties & Responsibilities):

  • Supervise, direct and lead all aspects of the Dealership Sales Department
  • Maintain a high customer satisfaction percentage rating at all times
  • Desk vehicle sales deals
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure quick preparation of new vehicles for delivery
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales staff to plan, modify and review all current issues and programs
  • Keep updated on all manufacturer and financial institutions current product, program, promotions, and ensure that all staff understand factory programs
  • Promote ongoing training, including daily and weekly sales team meetings
  • Ensure that all required provincial licensing and regulatory requirements are followed
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
  • A passion for customer service
  • Positive Can-do Attitude
  • Experience in auto sales management preferred
  • Two (2) years of management experience
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training programs
  • Safety management
  • Self-motivated

Education and Training:

  • A College Degree or equivalent experience in finance is preferred. A strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers is also useful. 
  • OMVIC Certification
