Official Toyota Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle FCV release date Ontario CanadaBlog Mar 22nd, 2017
The Toyota Mirai vehicle is quite exceptional, if you haven’t heard about yet, and it is already taking the automotive industry by storm as Toyota Motor Company is already increasing the production of the number of Mirai fuel cell vehicles to 700 this year, 2,000 in 2016, and then 3,000 vehicles in 2017.
The Mirai is only available right now in Japan, but Toyota received about 1,500 orders for it in its first month of being available! There is currently no official Toyota Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle FCV release date Ontario Canada, but Europe and possibly the U.S. could see the Toyota Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle later this year.
The number of vehicles sold in each market will depend on each area’s level of hydrogen infrastructure, development, energy policies, car-purchasing subsidies, consumer demand and environmental regulations.
The appeal of the Toyota Mirai is that it doesn’t use oil. This comes as a welcome aspect as more and more economies are searching for alternatives to oil to power vehicles, cities and other infrastructure. Hydrogen is used to power the Mirai, and even though we don’t have an official Toyota Mirai Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle FCV release date Ontario Canada, we hope this vehicle makes its way to our side of North America because we know a number of our area drivers will be interested.
Hydrogen can be obtained in a number of ways, which makes the vehicle an even more appealing option. One of the most common resources is plain water. Other sources of hydrogen that could be used to power the Mirai are plants, biomass and natural gas.
Looking into resourcing and funding the Toyota Mirai FCV makes sense in a number of ways, and we can’t wait to see how other entities embrace and use the FCV to better not only their lives but the overall state of the environment.
Toyota has always been leading the conversation when it comes to conservation and the environment, and this is just another example of the automotive companies’ commitment to making the world a better place.
